
| Meryl Krieger Clarinet Meryl finished her Ph.D. in Folklore and Ethnomusicology in 2009. She also has degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, Music Theory, Communications, and Anthropology. Having taught piano since 1992, Meryl brings an incredible amount of experience to the Stafford Music Academy, where she has been teaching piano and clarinet since January of 2006. Meryl is also very active as a performer with local theater groups. |

Phil has played guitar, bass, and oboe for 18 years and has teaching experience on all three instruments. He holds a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Composition from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Musicology from Indiana University. Active as a composer, songwriter, performer, and scholar, he spends much of his free time writing and recording music in his home studio. Before joining Stafford Music Academy in the fall of 2010, he taught music appreciation and music theory at Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL. |
